The workshops include a fully-equipped MoT bay, body shop and low-bake
spray booth. The comprehensive stores stock Moss spares (Moss are
a leading MG parts supplier) and offers a mail order facility. A
collection and delivery service brings work from further afield.
Although specialising in the MG marque, Tamar Valley's workshops
has carried out major work on Austin/Morris, Alvis, Jaguar, Rover,
Vauxhall, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Talbot, Humber, Buick, Morgan, Triumph
and Wolseley, which demonstrates their ability to work on a wide
variety of different cars.

For example, in 1992
a full rebuild was completed on a rare Allard Safari estate,
which proved worthy of the front cover of Classic Car magazine.
Colin has been involved with the MG Car Club for many years.
He competed in the successful Tamar Trio trials team in his
supercharged MG J2.
Our latest Tamarac V8
comprises a Heritage bodyshell, V8 Rover engine, and RV8 front
suspension. It is finished in Jaguar Ice Blue with blue seats
and trim.

Formed in 1976, the Tamar
Trio have racked up more competitive mileage and won more
trophies than the original works team did in the 30's, which
is a testament not only to Colin's skills as a driver but
also to his abilities with MGs.
He has as intimate knowledge
of the early OHC four and six-cylinder MG engines, and possesses
the skill and patience to make them run perfectly. These qualities
have been put to use in the creation of the Tamarac V8 Roadster.
